"Dynamo" midfielder Viktor Tsygankov should soon move to "Girona". At least, this is not the first day our journalists have been talking about it.
It is obvious that Tsygankov's career in Dynamo is coming to an end. Maybe after n-number of years Viktor will return to the team, but that will be a completely different story. The most likely place where the Kyiv vice-captain will continue his football career is the Spanish championship. To be more precise, the Girona football club. Currently, this is a midfielder of the Premier League, who plays with players from "Manchester City" in his team. You can read more about Tsygankov's possible future club in the material attached below.
We will focus on thoughts and fantasies about the future. That is, on the most interesting. Will Viktor Tsygankov be able to play in Europe? Will he stay in Girona for a long time? Maybe in a year or two he will move to the main team of the City Football Group, that is, Manchester City? Will he still follow in Yevgeny Konoplyanka's footsteps? All this will be discussed.
There is really a lot in common. True, then Konoplyanka had an offer from a more solid club with a more solid offer. But what are the times, so is Konoplyanka. Also the Spanish championship, also a free agent, also a solid injury history.
"I played in Sevilla - it was Spanish football. It's heaven and earth for wingers. It's just a thrill, they feel good on their plate. You went to Germany, and there is simply discipline. I see that instead of playing 2-touch, stretching before training, the technique is that they sharpen spikes to jump deeper.
They are so determined to fight, not like Sevilla. We were relaxed, really smiling, holding the ball. "Relaxion". We showed the technique we had, we played such good football," Konoplyanka said.
Yevgeny named the reason for the problems in an interview with Vladi Sedan. He left Spain early and went to Germany, a foreign country for him, for more playing time. That is, from the point of view of purely football, Tsygankov must only win. Yes, there will be no European Cups with "Girona", but what were they in "Dynamo"? The last draw of the Europa League is a complete shame. The time spent suffering with Rennes, Fenerbahce and AEK could have been spent learning the same Spanish. Ideally, a similar step should have been taken earlier. At the age of 25, moving from the status of a local star to a middle-class, albeit top championship, does not look very prestigious, but what, besides yourself, prevents you from showing yourself?
Perhaps the best option that gets along with reality. Which of the Ukrainian football players was promoted in European football when he started as an average player in the top championship? Andriy Voronin immediately comes to mind, but he moved to Germany at the age of 16 and developed as a footballer there. And to mention other examples... Maybe Mykolenko already deserves something more than this "Everton". Who else? It turns out that Tsygankov can become a kind of pioneer, and with his story set an example for other young players who got to the best European championships. After "Girona", growth in the same Spanish championship and a transfer to conditional "Villarreal" or "Atletico" would be a very good option.
Everyone around is so attached to the very name of the club. "Girona" just doesn't sound pathetic - that's already a reason for hate. But what does "Seville" sound like - 17th place in La Liga, and how does "Everton" sound - 19th place in the Premier League, and what "Schalke" used to sound like... Did many people know about "Atalanta" 10 years ago? Could anyone have believed in Leicester's championship? This is all me to the fact that in football everything is constantly changing. Many of the greatest clubs of the last century are now not even a pale shadow of themselves, take Dynamo. And if Tsygankov spends the rest of his career in "Girona", which will follow the scenario of the Bergamo team? Together with this club will play in the European Cups and progress in the domestic championship, will anyone criticize for choosing a club with a boring name? Yes, this version of the development of events now looks unlikely, but what in the world does not happen?
In short, this is a failure in Spain, so to speak, a move named after Dmytro Chygrinsky and a probable return to Dynamo. Can Viktor not succeed in "Girona"? Of course. Why? But here you can name many reasons, from "didn't fit into the team" to "crystal". The son of the legendary Gheorghe Haji, Janis was also a star in Romania at one time. At an early age, he moved to "Fiorentina", but did not make it. Then a year in his native championship, another year in Belgium and a transfer to Rangers, where he became the team's leader. But then again. The main problem with Tsygankov's transfer is too late. There is room for a Haji-like maneuver, but no time. Therefore, such a development can put an end to Tsygankov's career in Europe, but it does not prevent him from having fun in his native "swamp" and sometimes having fun in European cups.
Everyone has their own way to Manchester. Someone at an early age shone at the junior level, got a chance in Ufa and miraculously ended up in the team, where he managed to carve out a place under the sun. And someone can by the same miracle, in an equally crazy scenario, end up in the same team. Of course, Tsygankov will be more visible to Pep while playing for Girona. Of course, the fact that Viktor's agent is the brother of the City manager can play a significant role. But still do not believe that such a thing can happen. However, this is a dream, not a forecast. So there is a chance that it can come to life. Many things that seemed incredible yesterday have become commonplace today. Such a time. After all, everything is in Victor's feet and head. Everything depends on him. Everyone has their own way to Manchester.
