Viktor Tsygankov: "I feel happy"

Former Dynamo midfielder Viktor Tsygankov commented on his transfer to Spanish Girona.

“I feel happy that I am here with my family. I talked with the team, with the coaching staff, they said they see me here and want me to play here. This is the most important thing.

The past year was probably the worst not only in my life, but in the life of all Ukrainian people. This is a disaster for us, but our people are fighting for freedom. I thank them for what they do for Ukraine and our people. Of course, Europe also helps us. I am grateful to everyone.

Again, I am here because the head coach of Girona, his staff, Pere Guardiola, everyone wants to see me here. Pere has done a lot for me and my family. I watched the matches of Girona, they play great. I think this is the best move for me right now. I want to develop and grow with the team, become the best football player. I will do my best and every day I will learn from coaches, partners and help the team.

Mentor Michel Sanchez said that tomorrow I will train with the team, I want to do it as quickly as possible. I just got back from vacation, but I want to help as soon as possible.
