Shakhtar defender Mykola Matvienko is close to moving to Brighton, journalist David Ornstein reports.
According to the source, Matvienko is currently in London, where negotiations on his transfer are ongoing. Brighton are interested in signing the defender, but do not want to pay 25 million euros.
Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi, who previously worked with Matvienko, insists on a transfer. Negotiations are expected to continue this week.
