Journalist Kyrylo Kryzhanovsky expressed his opinion about the unsuccessful results of "Everton" in recent seasons.
"Over the past 7 years, Everton:
— spent £700 million on new players
- never played in the Champions League
— played under 8 different coaches, two of which were temporary
— set a club anti-record for an annual financial loss
- brought the situation to a critical point - four years in a row of huge net losses (totaling around £400 million in that period) and a place in the relegation zone
Today, "Everton" will release another star boy. Frank Lampard turned out to be on the same level as Howard Kendall in the late 90s. If "Everton" leaves the Premier League based on the results of this season, it will be the most logical end of the club's activity in recent years.
For such transfers as the purchase of Yannick Bolasie, Morgan Schneiderlin, Ashley Williams, Davy Klaasen, Cenk Tosun, Nikola Vlasic, Jera Mina, Andre Gomes, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Theo Walcott, Fabian Delph, in the amount of around 300 million pounds, one must be responsible."
