And here time has passed, people hear a lot of stories, see some videos, and all this has a little influence. The level of military romanticism is apparently declining. There is a lot of information, a person processes it and makes his choice: who goes, who does not go, who hides. People already understand what is being done there.
Oddly enough, since the war, the stories are almost the same. Everyone has their own hell. For someone, Bakhmut was hell, for someone Kreminna, there was hell in Kharkiv Oblast... People understand that they can die or be crippled there. That is why people have such a fear. I think it's natural and you can't do anything about it.
It is also necessary to help. If everyone goes to fight, no one will be helped. Volunteer help is simply enormous. Volunteers are the second army after the Armed Forces. Some defend the country with weapons in their hands, others defend with everything they can. Boys who do not go to the front should somehow help here, in the rear, in whatever way they can, so that grandchildren do not ask in their old age: "Grandfather, where were you when there was a war?" Not to say that I was sitting in Poland and picking strawberries. Women go to the front, and men change into women's clothes to cross the border. I don't even know what to call them," Onisko said.
