Everton head coach Frank Lampard has been sacked from his post, according to Dailymail.co.uk.
The former England midfielder was sacked after losing his eighth in nine games - this time 2-0 to West Ham. As the club looks for a new manager, club legend Leighton Baines, who coaches the Under-18s, and Under-21s head coach Paul Tate must oversee the day-to-day running of the first team.
Note that Everton have a day off today. The news will be reported to the team, obviously, already on Tuesday.
