The defender of the Argentine club Velez Sarsfield Diego Godin recalled his confrontation with Lionel Messi in the Spanish La Liga.
"Messi's talent, his vision of the game and his passing are something unique. The way he runs away from opponents in or out of space... Sometimes he can't be caught. There were times when we hit him and he didn't go down. We just ran after him. And when we managed to knock him off his feet, he only got angry when he was in a bad mood," ESPN quoted the former Atletico Madrid player as saying.
