The owner of the football bunker

The course and content of the scandalous "press conference" of the president of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelek, in addition to disgust and anger, also lead to certain relevant parallels.

...They celebrate the birthday on the same date - the Russian bald Führer and our homegrown football dictator. In the first with a war against the entire civilized world, everything goes so well that he was even forced to cancel the traditional direct line with the "people". Instead, the second one, not noticed in public communication for several years (also, apparently, due to the fact that the plans are being implemented in full swing and consistently), suddenly decided to break the vow of silence. Probably to share with the public the latest achievements in the field of development of Ukrainian football.

Whether it is because of the wartime, or because of his status as a figure in several criminal cases, released, let's recall, on a multimillion-dollar bail, or for some other reason, Andrii Pavelko decided to limit the flow of interest in his person. "Filtering measures" were applied to representatives of the press - only verified, loyal persons, aiming at the right - image - questions, obtained accreditation for a meeting with the head of the UAF (with a few exceptions).

And, let's say, the popular journalist Kostyantyn Andriyuk was rejected. For the reason that... he is not a journalist at all. At least, this is the opinion of Oleksandr Glyvinsky, the current press attache of the UAF and part-time chairman of the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine. He especially emphasized the last circumstance, bringing to the audience his own vision of the modern mission of the sports press, in particular, regarding the coverage of Pavelko's activities.

In the end, the football official's meeting with the press turned into a meaningless and, accordingly, aimless waste of time for journalists. In response to the questions that were actually raised in the hall, the audience heard complete demagoguery from Pavelko or his henchmen. Everyone can make sure of this - the recording is on YouTube.

It seems that Pavelkov needed the journalistic mask only to try to once again point the finger at others for the "negative successes" of the UAF and to report that all the proceedings against him are fakes. Who is this play for? To the court? To the fans? Or subordinates, who must be sure that their boss is not an investigator, but the wisest, most progressive and most honest, effective manager, educator and patriot.

Leaving the owner of the football bunker alone with his obsessive fantasies, I still want to repeat some of the questions that, unfortunately, have not yet been answered. The mentioned Kostianin Andriyuk kindly offered his colleagues (and everyone interested) a whole list of claims against Pavelko. We hope that some of them are already being dealt with by law enforcement agencies. And part of it, most likely, can be taken by the well-known sports community of Ukraine. Therefore...

Why did the factory for the production of artificial fields move from Kyiv region to Kramatorsk? How much weed has this business produced since its grand opening?

For what reasons was Mr. Pavelka removed from membership in the FIFA Disciplinary Committee?

When and how exactly did the head of the UAF raise the question at the official level about removing the Russian Football Union from FIFA and UEFA?

What did Pavelko do to convince FIFA leaders of the need for the President of Ukraine to address the world before the 2022 World Cup finals, where Volodymyr Zelenskyy planned to announce a peace formula to end the war in Ukraine?

While the coaching staff of the youth national team of Ukraine, which reached the final part of Euro-2023, had their salaries cut by 50 percent, UAF officials received triple salaries plus bonuses. How to explain such an absurd coincidence?

Who lives in a house in Khotyanivka worth $1 million, where more than 100 pairs of shoes belonging to Andriy Pavelek and his wife were found during searches?

And finally, the last question. Does Mr. Pavelko believe that Mr. Pavelko's resignation from the post of UAF president is necessary to clean up Ukrainian football?

Последний вопрос должен звучать так: "Считает ли господин Павелко, что для очищения украинского футбола и украинского общества от коррупционеров необходима тюремная койка для господина Павелко?"
