The sixth training day of "Dynamo" Kyiv in Turkey began with disturbing news from home - the team followed the news about the rocket attacks on their native Kyiv and other regions, worrying about their families and loved ones who are in Ukraine.
In the first half of the day, the coaching staff gave the players a rest, but all football players decided to spend this time in the hall. The team understands the level of responsibility at the meetings and strives to prepare as well as possible for the resumption of the season, not missing any opportunity to spend time with the benefit of their functional state.
In the evening, the "white and blue" held a planned training session at the Mardan Arena, which began with running, a full warm-up and acceleration exercises. After that, the players moved on to practice keeping the ball in a square with two players inside it. After the squares, the team began the main part of the training - today it was work on attacks with the connection of the flanks.
As for the players who missed the start of the training camp due to injury, Artem Besedin and Benito continue running and are getting closer to returning to the general group, while Vitaly Buyalsky is working separately with a rehabilitation coach. Denys Boyko, who is undergoing rehabilitation after an operation on the anterior cruciate ligament at the "Dynamo" location, is also engaged in an individually developed program.
The next sparring match of the Kyiv team is scheduled for Saturday, January 28 - Mircea Lucescu's team will meet with the Slovenian "Maribor" (the game starts at 16:00 Kyiv time).
