Former Everton head coach Frank Lampard said goodbye to the Merseyside club.
"After taking charge of Everton last year, I understood that the club was going through a difficult moment. I will always be proud of the incredible work and support of everyone involved in preserving the EPL residency. I will never forget that incredible night we spent together against Crystal Palace. I want to thank everyone for the hospitality we received here. This is a really special club with a big heart and an incredible history.
I'm disappointed that we couldn't achieve more. I wish the players and everyone at Everton all the best for the future," Lampard wrote on Instagram.
