UAF demands from FIFA and UEFA to stop friendly matches of European teams with Russian clubs

The UAF appealed to FIFA and UEFA with a call to stop the friendly matches of European teams against Russian clubs at the winter training camp in Turkey, reports The Athletic.

“Although the games in Turkey have an unofficial status, we consider this a violation of the isolation of Russian sports.

Any representatives of the country do not have the right to participate in international events, including sports. Russia and its companion Belarus must be completely isolated," Oleksandr Glivinsky, press officer of the Ukrainian national team, quoted The Athletic as saying.

Glivinsky also added that Ukrainian clubs decided not to spar with teams that met with the Russians, referring, among other things, to Partizan.

It should be noted that today Metalist has a control game with Lokomotiv Sofia, which previously held a match with Shinnik, and yesterday Metalist 1925 opposed the Radnichki club - earlier the Serbs played with Krylya Sovetov.
