Ukrainian football player Ruslan Kurdas died near Bakhmut, journalist, press secretary of FC Skoruk Dmitry Moskalenko said. Kurdas was 28 years old.
The footballer played for Dynamo Khmelnitsky, Illichivets U-19, Metalurh Zaporozhye, Tavriya-Simferopol, Peremoga, PFC Sumy and Kristall. He was the captain of Kristall, played 54 matches for the team, scored 19 goals.
