Dynamo Kyiv striker Artem Besedin commented on his transfer on loan to Cypriot Omonia.
“We really wanted this transfer to be completed as soon as possible. It happened. Thank you! I am very happy that I came here. I want to help Omonia achieve as many victories and heights as possible.
After receiving the offer, I thought for a while and, together with my manager, quickly made a decision. Yes, lately I didn’t have a very good period at Dynamo, but I am sure that by coming here I will change this situation for the better as soon as possible.
I will do everything to ensure that Omonia wins. I heard about this club, Ukrainian footballer Roman Bezus plays here, I played with him in Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team.
I know that Omonia is a club with great traditions. I had heard a lot about him, so I had no need to get to know him in any special way, to read something about him. Again, I am very glad that I joined this team. I want to get on the field as soon as possible, score and help the team win.
It's a pity that I couldn't help Omonia in the next match (On Thursday, the team plays away with Anorthosis in the 22nd round of the Cypriot Championship — ed.)but there are still a lot of games ahead. I really look forward to the first training session - I want to get to know the guys, see the coach and start preparing for the matches. I can promise that the fans of Omonia will not be ashamed of me on the field. I will try to do everything to ensure that our team has as many victories as possible and that there are no defeats at all," Besedin said in a comment to the Omonia press service.
