Arteta: "Arsenal had three key positions we wanted to improve"

The head coach of the London "Arsenal", Mikel Arteta, shared his impressions of the club's work during the winter transfer window. The Gunners signed three new players during January, with Leandro Trossard, Jorginho and Jakub Kivjor joining them.

"It was really difficult, but I think I have positive emotions as a result. We had three key positions that we wanted to improve, and we did. The most important thing was the profile and qualities of the player that we bring to the team to make it better, I have no doubt that we have done that.

In Leo, we got a player who already knows the league, performs at a great level and has the versatility we need. Jakub is a young talent with incredible potential who adapts very well to our style of play, and Jorginho, a player who speaks for himself. I think we made some really good decisions," Arteta was quoted as saying by Football.London.

We will remind that Arsenal did not achieve their main goals - Mykhailo Mudryk eventually joined Chelsea, and Moises Caicedo stayed at Brighton.
