Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer criticized the team's management for firing goalkeeping coach Toni Tapalovic.
"This decision struck me unpleasantly. This was a heavy blow. The club management informed me about it. The news came out of nowhere. This came as a shock to Tony. I did not understand this decision at all. It kind of knocked me off my feet.
This blow went through me when I was already lying on the ground. I felt as if my heart had been ripped out. This is the cruelest thing that has happened to me in my career. And I've been through a lot, you can call me thick-skinned. What happened now is on a whole other level. All the goalkeepers of "Bavaria" were torn to pieces. We goalkeepers are a team, we all loved Toni, Manuel Neuer said.
