Barcelona are close to signing Los Angeles Galaxy defender Julián Araujo. But the "blue garnet" were only 18 seconds late with the transfer.

The Blue Garnets have agreed with Los Angeles Galaxy on the transfer of 21-year-old Araujo for 5.2 million euros. Barcelona director Mateu Alemani commented on the situation.

“We couldn’t register this transfer because we were 18 seconds late, the window had already closed. Perhaps there was a technical error, we will discuss this with FIFA," Alemani said.
