Fonseca accuses Lille president of interfering in his work

The head coach of the French Lille, Paulo Fonseca, known in Ukraine for his work with Shakhtar Donetsk, is escalating relations with the president of his current club, Olivier Letang.

According to Foot Mercato, immediately before the start of yesterday's match of the French championship with Rennes (3:1), a conversation took place between the Portuguese specialist and the head of Lille in a raised voice, during which Fonseca, in particular, accused Letang of interfering in his work .

In addition, the head coach expressed dissatisfaction with the president of the club due to the almost complete absence of winter transfers. During the recently closed transfer window, Lille managed to sign only goalkeeper Benoit Costille from Auxerre.

We add that after 22 rounds of the current French championship, Lille occupies the 6th place in the championship standings. Fonseca's team is separated by two points from the European Cup zone.
