Sergei Krivtsov (center)- What do people with whom you managed to talk to in the USA say about the situation in Ukraine?
‒ I can definitely say that people are aware of what is happening. They ask about the current situation, about my family, where and how things are with relatives who are now in Ukraine. Everyone knows that there is a war going on, they support Ukraine and believe in our victory.
‒ Have you ever thought that if you leave for the USA, then not only finish playing there, but also try to stay there to live after your playing career? Or are there other plans?
- Complex issue. So far, I see myself in Ukraine. I want Ukraine to win this war as soon as possible. And I would like to live there. But I know that you can not promise. So far, I've only spent a few days in the US, after a long flight and jet lag, every day is a bit like a dream. It takes time at least to adapt to changes and come to your senses.
‒ You said you haven't talked to Beckham yet. But have you already prepared a speech to convince David to buy Stepanenko from Shakhtar at the first meeting?
‒ I would only be glad if Taras joined my new team. I think he will definitely strengthen Inter. He is a great supporter. And when we talked with the coach and sports director, I already told them that if they need a player for this position, I will promote him.
- David Beckham really wanted to invite Miami Messi to Inter. And maybe it will even happen in the foreseeable future. What will you say to Messi when you first greet him as a teammate?
‒ Yes, indeed, such talks are going on. And I already know about one high-profile transfer that will take place in the summer. I can't give a last name, but it would be cool. There is also talk about Messi, but as far as I know, so far this is just talk.
