Oleksandr Chyzhevsky: "More national team matches are a problem"

Oleksandr Chyzhevskyi, the record holder for the number of matches in the Ukrainian Premier League and the head coach of Agrobusiness, told how the reform of the League of Nations made an impression on him.

Oleksandr Chyzhevskyi

- For me, as a coach of a football club, more national team matches is a problem. Because the more matches the national team has, the more breaks there are in the domestic championship, it drags on and you have to finish playing in the snow. But if you look at it from the point of view of the national team, these changes are beneficial. The "collectors" will spend more time together, they will have more teamwork, understanding, and therefore the team will become stronger when they have to play matches of the European or world championships.

In general, the League of Nations fulfills its function. Because a friendly game will never replace a competitive one. After all, we play for the fans, and they, above all, need matches with intrigue, said the expert.
