The victory at Sarajevo became Shakhtar's first in the cycle of test matches of the current off-season. Prior to that, the Pitmen lost to Austrian Vienna (1:2), and also parted ways with Slovenian Koper (2:2), Bulgarian Ludogorets (2:2) and Slovenian Maribor (4:4) .
Let us add that already next week, on February 16, Shakhtar will play the first match against French Rennes in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League.
