Barcelona president Joan Laporta has spoken about midfielder Sergio Busquets, whose contract with the Catalans expires in the summer of 2023.
“We had a conversation before Christmas. He had an offer from an MLS club, he never hid it from us. He would like to live the American experience.
He could have left in January, but luckily he decided to stay and finish the season with us. If he thinks he is strong enough to continue playing for Barcelona, we will sit down and talk again. This is what we have agreed with all parties," Marca quoted Laporta as saying.
We will remind that the 34-year-old football player was in talks with David Beckham's club "Inter" Miami.
