FIFA's official website has published a list of three players who will compete for the title of "Football Player of the Year", as well as three contenders in the "Coach of the Year" and "Goalkeeper of the Year" nominations.

The three final nominees for the FIFA Best Player of the Year are: (in alphabetical order):

• Kylian Mbappe (France / Paris Saint-Germain)
• Lionel Messi (Argentina / Paris Saint-Germain)

The three final nominees for the FIFA Best Coach award are: (in alphabetical order):

• Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid)
• Josep Guardiola (Manchester City)
• Lionel Scaloni (Argentina national team).
