The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has denied information regarding the possible appointment of Carlo Ancelotti to the post of head coach, the organization's official website reports.
"The Brazilian Football Confederation does not confirm the information that Carlo Ancelotti will lead the national team. The president of the organization, Ednaldo Rodríguez, states that the matter will be resolved transparently and the name of the new head coach will be announced in due course," the organization's official statement said.
It was previously reported that Carlo Ancelotti will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and will lead the Brazilian national team.
