Chelsea are considering hiring Hans-Dieter Flick as head coach, Caught Offside reports, citing Bild journalist Christian Falk.
Londoners have been in contact with Flick since the days when Marina Granovskaya was the general director of the club. Recently, Chelsea again returned to the idea of cooperating with the German, but so far Flick does not plan to leave the German national team, because he wants to finalize his contract, calculated up to Euro 2024, to the end.
Chelsea are currently in ninth place in the Premier League, 10 points away from the Champions League zone. Earlier it was reported that the club management sees Graham Potter as the head coach in the long term.
