Journalist Mykhailo Spivakovskyi reported on the air of the TaToTake program that UAF held talks with Vorskla coach Viktor Skrypnyk regarding the possibility of leading the Ukrainian national team.
It is known that the leadership of UAF was not opposed to Skrypnyk combining work in the national team and "Vorskla". But the Poltava club does not want to let the specialist go, even despite his high salary. His contract with Vorskla expires in the summer.
"I know that Pavelko and Skrypnyk talked at certain crossings," said Spivakovsky.
We will remind you that the Ukrainian national team is currently without a head coach, as Oleksandr Petrakov's contract expired in December 2022.
On March 26, our national team will begin its journey in the qualifying campaign for Euro-2024 with a match against the England national team.
