Minaya defender Dmitry Nemchaninov spoke about the brawl with Russian Shinnik players that took place at the hotel at the training camp in Turkey.
"We are all alive and well. It's the Russians who have injuries. They were stitched up and some of their ribs are broken".
- Dimitri, your phone must be red with calls.
- You do not say. Lots of people are writing and calling now, even from the propaganda channel Match TV. Former players of Minai also call and say that they also wanted to be with us and give the Russians a f**k.
- In Ukraine, the players of FC Minay are now heroes, they beat up the Russians. Tell us how it was?
- I did not want to be such heroes, but I had to. Our guys were in the toilet, and some drunken footballer from Shinnik was shitting there and started to say something to the cleaning lady. She was answering him in Turkish, and he was like: 'Speak Russian, I don't understand you'. Our guys told him: 'You don't understand? Now we'll explain it to you in Russian". And they hit him. He was really swinish with that woman.
Then he and his team came down to the hall and started explaining something. There was no turning back now. We had a small chance, and we took it - we pummeled the Russians.
- Of the Minaya players, no one was injured in the fight?
- Thank God, no, we all are alive and healthy. The Russians have injuries. They`ve been stitched up and some of their ribs have been broken.
- Who was the most active Minai fighter?
- Everyone was active, there was no one who did not participate.
- You did not miss Seleznev with his boxing skills.
- Yes, he missed the best party.
"Shinnik were evicted from the hotel, but we are also being evicted now".
- How did Shinnik end up in your hotel in the first place?
- Nobody knows. They say they were moved because of the earthquake in Turkey, as there was no other place to stay. Although, when we checked in, it was our condition that there were no Russians in the hotel.
The funny thing is that when we arrived to Alanya, Shinnik was also there, but managed to leave the next day. It turns out that we crossed paths with them for the second time.
- Have they already checked out of the hotel?
- Yes, they were evicted, but they are evicting us too. Turks have a solidarity that we were supposed to be aggressive, so they evicted two teams.
- Did you have problems with the police?
- No, everything is OK.
