I suspected that if we played without depth and verticality, we would have a difficult first half. Unfortunately, I wanted to take Mbappe off when Bayern scored.

The opponent made us sweat. We could have used the full-backs better. "Bayern deserved the goal because they played well in the first 60 minutes. We established teamwork on the pitch over the next 25 minutes and outperformed the opposition in this period. In the end, it was the little things that made the difference," said Christophe Galtier.
