"I lived in Russia and I can say that Ukrainian people are friendlier. Russians are very radical. Look how many foreigners walk the streets of Kiev. Many are Hindus, Africans, Americans, Europeans. But in russia it is hard for foreigners to walk on the streets. Ukrainians are very hospitable, they welcome tourists, they are open and friendly to everyone.

Yes, there is a lot of racism in Russia. Zenit fans hate dark-skinned people, you will never see Africans there. You can see Brazilians, Argentines but not Africans. Their fans humiliate us, it is just evil. There was a terrible incident in Tambov. We were playing a match. Our fan started shouting racist abuse at me. Imagine, at the player of his team. I can`t understand it.

But in Ukraine, I do not have such cases. Here almost all foreigners feel comfortable. In Dynamo even many Ukrainians speak English, there is someone to communicate with. And as for Russia, I'd rather keep silent," Benito said.
