Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov has told us what he expects from the first leg of the Europa League 1/16 final against French side Rennes in Warsaw today.
"We have thoroughly studied the opponent and we know both the weaknesses and strengths of Rennes. We also know that they have individually strong players.
Our head coach says we have to go out and show the football we have been working on in training camp. The opponents have a slight advantage in tone, but in games like these it's what comes from within that matters most. We just have to go out and play," Zubkov said at the pre-match press conference in Warsaw yesterday.
