Well-known journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko talks about Shakhtar's problems, which the Croatian coach Igor Jovicevic is trying to solve.
"Igor Jovicevic has not resolved any of the issues he faced in the winter:
1. Replacing Mudryk. We failed to sign anyone for this position. The Swede is injured, Petryak is not up to par, and Topalov has no confidence. That's why Kryskiv will play. Dmytro is a promising player, but the left winger position has never been his. It may work in one or two matches, but it cannot be a solution.
2. Building a game without Mudryk. Yovi was based on Mykhailo's strengths and speed. Everything was built for the team leader. Now he doesn't have that speed and it can't be compensated for. We need to rebuild the game. Igor does not have any new ideas. The team was set up for a quick transition to attack, but now all these split passes have almost lost their meaning," Serhiy wrote on Facebook.
