AEK head coach Jose Luis Oltra commented on his side's 1-0 win over Dnipro 1 in the first leg of the Conference League 1/16 final yesterday in Larnaca.
"I'm very happy with the result. The game was hard for us. But we were able to play with concentration and without mistakes in defense. We tried to play first number one and play high, but it was not easy, because Dnipro 1 is a very good team with quality players in the squad.
Even though we had our chances, but we can say that we were saved by the standard position. We made use of it. Unlike the opposition.
