Former head coach of Kyiv Dynamo and current UAF functionary Oleksiy Mykhailychenko gave his opinion about midfielder Viktor Tsygankov in an interview with Sport Arena TV.
"Were there any offers for Tsygankov when I was the head coach of Dynamo? I only remember a lot of talk. You see, to offer a player for big money, you need to see not only his prospects, but also the dynamics of growth. In very important matches - for the national team, in the Champions League. I think what happened now was going on before that.
Tsygankov, who moved to Girona, is now rebuilding a bit. It will be difficult for him to play quickly. I hope he will somehow prove himself in this team. There is a 50% to 50% chance. He might grow, but he might also stop," said Mykhailychenko.
