A curious incident occurred in the first leg of the 1/16 Conference League final between Turkey's Trabzonspor and Switzerland's Basel (1-0). Jens Larsen was celebrating a goal in the 65th minute when he turned his back on his running team-mate Mahmoud Hassan and was unintentionally slapped in the face.
As a result, the Dane collapsed on the pitch and was unable to recover for a while, but a minute later he managed to get back on his feet and continued to play the match until the final whistle.
