Dynamo student Danylo Knysh spoke about Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Danylo Knysh— You are a student of Dynamo Kyiv. Tell me how you started playing football.
— I started playing football in my hometown, Artsyza. First, I went to Kharkiv, things didn't work out there, so I went to "Monolit" (Chornomorsk). A very good team was being built there, I liked it. Oleksandr Zinchenko performed with me, we are the same age as him. I spent two years there and the team began to fall apart.
Our football players were not bad, we went to Mariupol for a tournament. We showed ourselves well there and I was invited to Dynamo Kyiv, and Sasha Zinchenko went to Shakhtar. Now I no longer communicate with Zinchenko. The last time we spoke with him was when we were in the youth national team of Ukraine. Zinchenko was the same in his childhood as he is now. Loved to win, took everything seriously and loved his job. I am not surprised that he managed to realize his potential and is now one of the leaders of London Arsenal.
— Tell some funny story related to Zinchenko.
— I remember how we always came for lunch and did not like to eat the first course. The coach told us to eat because it will give us strength because we have hard training and so on. Once, Sasha and I didn't like the soup and we salted it. It was thought that the coach would now say that he was oversalted and we could not eat. And he came and said he didn't care and we should eat it all.
