Jordan Henderson: "Real Madrid's third goal upset us"

The captain of "Liverpool" Jordan Henderson commented on the home defeat by "Real" (2:5) in the Champions League match.

— We still had a good first half. We were on top and created some good moments. There was a good chance when the score was 2:0, but the ball was taken almost off the line. If there had been a goal, it would have been an important moment. The second goal against us was, of course, the result of a mistake. The third goal upset us, and that's when our game fell apart.

It is difficult to sum up immediately after such a game. We played well for most of the first half and were unlucky to go into the break level. We made too many mistakes. Today, "Real" punished us for each of them, said the midfielder after the game.
