As previously reported, Shakhtar Donetsk have managed to overcome the barrier in the form of the French side Rennes (2-1, 1-2, 5-4 on penalties) in the tie for the right to enter the 1/8 finals of the Europa League. The draws for this stage of the tournament will be held today, February 24 (starting at 13:00 Kyiv time).

In the 1/8 finals of the Europa League eight teams will play, which finished first in their groups in the group stage of the tournament, and another eight winners of the knockout round matches for the right to enter this stage.

The group winners are drawn in a "seeded" basket, while the remaining teams will be the unseeded.
