The investigation is checking information on the legality of the bank's receipt and use of more than UAH 1.6 billion in refinancing loans. The institution received the funds after the start of the active phase of hostilities. This amount is more than 50% of the bank's assets and is more than 5.5 times the amount of the bank's authorized capital.

As part of the investigation, law enforcement officers are also checking information about the involvement of high-ranking officials and deputies of the Russian Federation in committing crimes in Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers do not specify the name of the bank, but it is known that the president of the Moscow CSKA Evgeny Giner owns 88.9% of the shares of the First Investment Bank (PIN Bank).
