Dyche: "Aston Villa earned a penalty out of almost nothing. It did not follow the logic of the game"

Everton's head coach Sean Dyche commented on the result of the 25th round of the English Championship match against Aston Villa (0:2).

"They earned a penalty out of nothing and it was against the run of play. I emphasized that we have to kick the ball with faith in the goal and not worry that it won't happen. We lack this in key moments. Today we created enough to score a goal. It doesn't always guarantee a win, but it gives us a good start. I thought we did enough to do that today.

We have to be careful when analyzing the game because the team did everything well. We failed to realize two killer chances, but the team did a lot of good things. We need to continue in the same vein, but make sure that we create the right scoring chances at both ends of the field," the club's press service quoted Daic as saying.

It will be recalled that Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko came out in the starting lineup and played the full 90 minutes of the match.
