American journalist Ian Hest reported that central defender Serhiy Krivtsov bought 20 tickets for the Ukrainians for his Inter Miami debut match.
Serhiy Krivtsov made his debut in an official match for Inter Miami, which he joined from Shakhtar Donetsk in the winter transfer window. The Ukrainian defender scored the winning goal in his opening MLS championship match against Montreal (2-0).
U.S. journalist Ian Hest talked about the Ukrainian centerback's noble act.
"Krivtsov told me he bought about 20 tickets for the Ukrainian fans. It was special that they supported him when he scored his first MLS goal in his debut game for Inter Miami. Krivtsov said playing in front of the fans was great. He said it was great because he was able to forget for a moment about the situation in Ukraine," Hest wrote on his social media.
