"I want to get to the Champions League because I want to play there. We're spoiled by what we've been through in the last four or five years. We won every tournament we participated in. Last year, we fought for all the trophies until the last day, so this difficult season is still a shock for everyone," Goal quoted van Dijk as saying.

Jurgen Klopp's men are seventh in the Premier League, nine points behind fourth place. At the same time, Liverpool has been eliminated from the FA Cup and the EFL Cup, and is close to ending its Champions League campaign after a 2-5 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of the last 16.
