Acting head coach of Ukraine Ruslan Rotan confirmed the information that Yevhen Konoplyanka, the midfielder of the Polish "Krakovia" may be called up to the national team to prepare for the opening match of the qualifying round of Euro 2024 - against England (March 26, London).

"Yes, I am counting on Konoplyanka. I've been following him and am following him. He is a candidate for the national team. Like all players who play in the Ukrainian championship and abroad. Anything can happen", - said Rotany in his commentary to Yotube channel "Vzbrirna".

In the current season, Konoplyanka played 17 matches for Krakovia in all tournaments and has three goals (one of them from the penalty box) and two assists.
