Roma's head coach Jose Mourinho has been suspended for two Serie A matches for arguing with referees, the tournament's press service reports.
"The coach has been suspended for arguing with the referee. Mourinho provoked the referee at the beginning of the second half and behaved in the same way during the sending off. Also, after the game, the Portuguese entered the referee's room and addressed the fourth referee with offensive language," the statement published on the league's website reads.
It will be recalled that after a brief dispute on the sideline at the beginning of the second half, Mourinho received a red card.
