Head coach of Dnipro-1 Oleksandr Kucher summarized the results of his team's 2-2 match with Oleksandriya in the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship yesterday.
"It's hard to say why Dnipro-1 lost points today. We started well, had a lot of chances and scored a goal, but after that I don't know what happened to the guys who started making mistakes and just giving the ball to the opponent.
Then we scored the second goal, but at the end of the game we apparently lacked experience and class, because winning 2-1 at the end of the match and running into a counterattack is, of course, incomprehensible to me. I had to commit a foul somewhere, tactically stop the opponent and retreat to defense.
In general, the game was dynamic and the fans liked it, because the two teams were striving for victory. Oleksandriya has a good team and a good coach, so we wish them success," Kucher said at the post-match press conference.
