Miroslav Stupar: "I don't think Monzul has any prejudice against Dynamo. It's just her level of refereeing".

Refereeing expert, former FIFA referee Miroslav Stupar gave his opinion about refereeing Kateryna Monzul in yesterday's match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship between Kyiv Dynamo and Inhults from Petrovo (0:2).

"During the winter training the referees actually had no refereeing practice - only theory and physical training. They listened to lectures, which obviously does not help in situations where you need to show concentration, as well as understanding of the game. And on the first full day of soccer after the resumption of the championship, we saw the consequences: we have a weak performance of referees in two games at once.

In the third minute of Dynamo - Ingulets match Kucherenko went on a roll against Kabaev and played the ball, and Kabaev fell over the leg of Ingulets player. Catherine, instead of continuing the game, recorded a violation of the rules. Six minutes later, Sitalo was brought down on the field - zero reaction from Monzul. Then, in the 36th minute Vanat shot on goal, the goalkeeper hit back, and she set up a shot from goal.

This chain of errors was complemented by the first goal of Inhults, when Sitalo broke the rules against Dyachuk. Yes, there was a struggle, but there is a shoulder-to-shoulder struggle, and this is not the case. In our case, there was a shoulder tackle on the back of defender. The forward pushed Dyachuk, took advantage, gave a pass and Kozak scored.

There were also questions about the second goal. Sidorchuk sent a pass to the back of the net, and Kuharuk hit the ball in the hand. Even after that, there was an interception and a rapid productive counterattack by Inhults. Kateryna Monzul didn't react. It is interesting that she is often criticized for watching video replays, but today she did not go near the monitors. She just listened to the VAR referee Kovalenko's explanations. She should have watched it herself, though. Perhaps she would have made different decisions.

I don't think it is some sort of bias against Dynamo. It's just the level of her officiating", - said Stupar.
