Today has given the world several famous people who are closely associated with soccer:
Vladimir Bessonov. (1958) is a legendary soccer player, who played at the position of midfielder. Bessonov spent most of his playing career at Kyiv "Dynamo", in the staff of which he became a multiple champion.
In 1988 Bessonov was invited to Italian Roma, but Lobanovsky asked him to stay in the team for two more years. In 1990, after his failure at the World Cup he left for Israel and played for Maccabi (Haifa). In the Israeli club was not long and already the new season 1991 began as coach of the double of Dynamo Kiev. At the beginning of April 2015 he started working for Dynamo Kiev as a coach-selector.
During the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Bessonov joined one of Ukraine's territorial defense units.
Jens Jeremis (1974) is a former German footballer who played as a supporting midfielder. Now Jens Jeremis works as a soccer agent together with Jurgen Milewski and Tadeusz Solominski, the three of them form a talent scouting group and help to get them lucrative contracts with top clubs. Jens Jeremis is the founder of a foundation to help underprivileged children and young people.
Vladimir Maslachenko (1936-2010) is a former goalkeeper and commentator. He was born in Dnipropetrovsk region, where he began his playing career with Spartak of Krivoy Rog. He was considered one of the best goalkeepers of the late 1950s - first half of the 1960s. But in the USSR national team he couldn't displace Lev Yashin as a goalkeeper. After his soccer career he became one of the best sports commentators. He died November 28, 2010 of heart failure.
