In an exciting Premier League match, which was held at the stadium "Avangard", Metalist from Kharkiv faced Rukh from Vinnitsa, and both teams fought hard for the victory. By the break, "Rukh" was leading 0-1, thanks to a goal from Y. Klimchuk in the 18th minute. However, Metal Metalist Kharkiv returned to the field in the second half with renewed energy and enthusiasm. A minute after the kickoff they made two quick substitutions: S. Valencio and A. Chidomera instead of D. Korkishko and S. Panasenko, respectively. Those changes seemed to breathe new life into the team, and after just four minutes S. Panasenko scored a goal for Metalist Kharkiv, levelling the score at 1-1 for the rest of the match. Rukh Vinniki didn't stop before the score was tied and continued to try to get back into the game.
They made two substitutions: B. Sliubyk and Talles came on instead of O. Veremiyenko and Y. Karabin at the 52nd and 66th minutes respectively. In the 77th minute J. Karabin scored a decisive goal for Rukh, taking the lead 13 minutes before the end of the game. The game was not without drama: the entire match saw four yellow cards. О. Veremiyenko of Rukh received a yellow card in the 11th minute, and Y. Klimchuk - in the 65th minute. F. Alvarenga and M. Mysyk also received yellow cards for "Rukh" in the 78th and 79th minutes, respectively. D. Korkyshko got a yellow card for Metalist Kharkiv in the 79th minute. When time was running out, both teams made the last substitutions. In the 80th minute, Rukh sent on Roman V. and O. Pritula instead of M. Mysyk and F. Alvarenga, and Metalist Kharkiv released V. Naumets instead of M. Bagachanskyy in the 84th minute. However, the scoreline remained unchanged, and when the final whistle blew, Rukh Vinniki got a tough win over Metalist Kharkiv 1:2.
