French PSG forward Neymar will no longer play this season due to injury, according to the club's official website.
It is reported that Neymar recently had problems with the ankle joint in his right foot. After a recent sprain suffered on February 20, the club's medical staff recommended surgery to repair the ligament to avoid the serious risk of a recurrence of the injury.
The surgery will be performed in the coming days in Doha. It is expected that Neymar will need 3-4 months to recover before the player can train with the team. Thus, the Brazilian will miss the finish of this season.
