Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes criticized Red Devils striker Voute Veggorst after the 0-7 defeat to Liverpool.
"In this MU, Veggorst plays the role of a defender. We are talking about a center forward, but he looks like a defender. He doesn't know where to go on the field, the opponents just play with him. If you play for Manchester United, you have to have a certain level of quality. Weggorst does not meet this level," the Daily Mail quoted Scholes as saying.
This season, the Dutchman has played 14 matches for MU in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
