Ivan Getsko: "UAF devalued the very position of the national team head coach"

Ivan Getsko, a forward for the Ukrainian national team, commented on the resonant appointment of Ruslan Rotan as acting coach of the national team.

- There is nothing good about this appointment. The UAF has driven itself into a dead end because it said goodbye to Petrakov and did not have time to agree with Rebrov. And to somehow get out of the impasse, it appointed Rotan. However, this coach has no great success, no experience, and no authority. You cannot bet on such a specialist before a match with England! We have no prospects! With this appointment, the UAF has devalued the very position of head coach of the national team.

Don't we have any more worthy candidates? There are Mykhailychenko, Demyanenko, Bezsonov, Blokhin, Markevich... But they know their worth, value their authority and would not agree to lead the national team for one match. I'm afraid that everything will end in failure in all three of Rotan's jobs.
