According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club's management reacted to this decision by banning any of its players or staff from communicating with the media for the rest of the Serie A season. This rule will not apply to international matches, given the norms stipulated in the contract with UEFA.
It will be recalled that the Portuguese coach was sent off in the Serie A match with Cremoneza (1-2) due to a conflict with the fourth referee Marco Serra. "Roma filed an appeal, which allowed them to suspend the penalty for the match against Juventus (1-0). Now, the Court of Appeal for Sport has made the final decision, and Mourinho will miss the match with Sassuolo and the Roman derby with Lazio.
